About the Role

As the Director, Engineering Operations & Governance, you will oversee the Engineering PMO, standardize engineering processes, manage shared QA and BA organizations, and handle engineering financial management. You will unify operations across merging companies, drive the shift to a modern product-engineering model, and implement industry-leading practices.

About You

Required:

12+ years in software engineering operations, PMO leadership, technology governance, or engineering management.
5+ years leading multi-disciplinary engineering operations functions.
Proven experience standardizing processes across multiple business units or merged companies.
Experience transitioning organizations from project/IT models to modern product engineering.
Strong expertise with SDLC, Agile/Lean frameworks, DevOps, release management, and quality practices.
Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, vendor models, and capacity planning.
Ability to navigate large enterprises while leading modernization and operational transformation.

Preferred:

Experience with global delivery or GCC/shared geography execution models.
Background in SaaS platforms, logistics tech, commerce, fintech, or insurtech environments.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, NIST) and architecture governance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior technical and business leaders.
