Summary
Farther is seeking a Director, Father Insurance Group to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves leading the strategy and execution of Farther's national insurance offering, focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
About the Role
As the Director of Father Insurance Group, you will build and lead a national insurance desk, curate a preferred lineup of insurance products, negotiate relationships with carriers, and integrate insurance into Farther's broader planning ecosystem. You will also manage advisor training programs, oversee the P&L for the business unit, drive adoption of insurance tech platforms, and establish compliance frameworks.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years in insurance leadership within a national RIA, broker-dealer, or large financial institution.
- Deep product expertise across life, annuities, LTC, and disability.
- Proven experience building an insurance organization or desk from the ground up.
- Active Life & Health license; familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in an RIA/BD context.
- Track record of engaging advisors through training programs and adoption initiatives.
Preferred:
- Experience at the intersection of broker-dealer and RIA structures.
- FINRA Series 6, 7, or 65/66.
- Advanced credentials (CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®, MBA).
- Hands-on experience with insurance tech platforms (iPipeline, Annuity Rate Watch, digital underwriting tools).
