About the Role
As the Director, Government Affairs - U.S. Reimbursement, you will be responsible for tracking reimbursement policy developments, creating product coverage strategies for Medicare, and representing AbbVie's interests before federal agencies. You will collaborate with Government Affairs colleagues to develop advocacy strategies that align with enterprise goals and support reimbursement strategies.
About You
Required:
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. federal reimbursement environment and commercial payer market.
- 10+ years of experience in a related role, preferably in Government Affairs.
- Bachelor's degree in health care administration, political science, public administration, or public policy.
- Expertise in coding, coverage, reimbursement, and Average Sales Price (ASP) methodology.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MPH, MBA, JD, MPP).
- Experience launching physician-administered drugs and working on reimbursement issues in oncology and neuroscience.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, particularly Medicare Part A/B.
