About the Role
As a Director, Industry Advisor, you will develop and execute national market strategies to accelerate Salesforce's growth within State and Local Government. You will articulate a compelling vision for Salesforce solutions, bridge the gap between government programs and technology, and foster relationships with senior public officials. Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, program development, customer engagement, and sales collaboration to drive mission-focused growth.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience with JPS agencies, public sector digital transformation, or managing government technology programs.
- Deep understanding of JPS stakeholder experience, use cases, legacy modernization, data integration, and compliance.
- Familiarity with government budget cycles, funding mechanisms, and procurement processes.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to influence agency leadership and large audiences.
- Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
Preferred:
- Experience developing comprehensive, scalable program portfolios for targeted programs.
- Expertise in multiple sectors (e.g., Justice and HHS).
- Understanding of federal-state-local dynamics and funding.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Government Cloud.
- Direct experience with JPS use cases and the functionality required for a modernized system.
