About the Role
As the Director, Associate General Counsel, Litigation, you will represent the organization in various legal proceedings, develop cost-effective legal strategies, provide guidance on escalated disputes, and oversee responses to subpoenas. You will also research and interpret laws and regulations, advising management on legal developments affecting the organization.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of legal experience as a litigation attorney at a national law firm and/or in-house legal department.
Preferred:
- 7+ years of legal experience as a litigation attorney at a national law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and member in good standing of a state bar.
- Demonstrated ability to manage litigations and investigations with limited supervision.
- Experience in securities litigation, enforcement matters, investigations, ERISA, antitrust, broker-dealer, and/or insurance law.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
- Advanced problem solving and prioritization skills.
