About the Role

As the Director of Accounting, you will oversee all financial accounting functions, manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and cash flow, and prepare financial statements. You will lead budgeting processes, produce financial forecasts, and present insights to leadership. Additionally, you will collaborate with the CFO and department leaders, oversee external audits, and ensure regulatory compliance. This position requires utilizing accounting software and maintaining organized financial documentation.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and core accounting principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred:

3–5 years of hospital or healthcare accounting experience.
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reporting, HCAP, or IRS Form 990.
Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
