Summary

Congruex is seeking a Director of Construction to lead and manage their construction division in the Denver Metro area, focusing on broadband and wireless communications infrastructure projects.

About the Role

The Director of Construction will report to the VP, Markets and provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure operational controls, administrative procedures, and people systems support organizational growth and financial strength. Responsibilities include driving division profitability, overseeing internal and external process effectiveness, budgeting and financial forecasting, reporting to executive teams, appointing and managing department heads, developing operational infrastructure plans, motivating and leading management teams, maintaining a safe and engaging work environment, holding regular progress meetings, serving as the primary escalation point for regional issues, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Minimum 10 years of construction and/or engineering experience.
Minimum 5 years of management experience.
Ability to manage teams across multiple states.
Excellent conflict resolution and leadership skills.
Experience in end-to-end project management of large telecommunications projects.
Experience managing Outside Plant and Inside Plant projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Superior time management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Professionalism in fast-paced environments.
Dedication to superior customer service ('White Glove Service').

Preferred:

Relationship management experience with government or city officials and clients.
Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
