As the Director of Education, you will lead daily operations while upholding brand and regulatory standards, manage staff by hiring, training, and supervising them, deliver the proprietary Wonder of Learning program, engage with families and the community, manage financial resources, and maintain a safe environment for children and staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
- NYS Teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, or Special Education (Birth-2nd or 1st-6th).
- At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 1+ year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
Preferred:
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Familiarity with community engagement strategies.
