About the Role
As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of financial operations, including developing policies, managing accounting processes, preparing financial statements, overseeing cash management, and leading audit preparations. You will work closely with leadership to support financial stewardship and operational decision-making in a nonprofit environment.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of accounting experience, including senior-level nonprofit or educational institution accounting.
- 3-5 years experience in a Controller, Finance Director, or similar leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred.
- 3+ years prior supervisory experience required.
- Non-profit accounting experience required.
Preferred:
- Strong GAAP expertise and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Google Suite, Excel, and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise expertise.
