H-Squared is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves leading fundraising and LP engagement globally for a leading hedge fund.
About the Role
As the Director of Investor Relations, you will drive fundraising efforts with endowments, foundations, and other institutional LPs. You will manage the full investor lifecycle, including origination, relationship management, negotiation, and closing. Additionally, you will represent the firm at global conferences, roadshows, and meetings, collaborate closely with portfolio management and leadership teams to communicate strategy, performance, and market insights, and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors.
About You
Required:
- At least 10 years in investor relations or fundraising, ideally within hedge funds, private equity, or other alternatives.
- Demonstrated success in raising capital from a range of investors.
- Proven ability to close complex, high-value commitments.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide.
