About the Role
About You
- Four (4) years advanced level policy analysis experience with a focus on the legislative process.
- Experience facilitating consensus among diverse parties.
- Strong organizational skills to track and prioritize large amounts of information.
- Understanding of statutory and administrative rule construction and interpretation.
- Public speaking experience to present policy and legislative information effectively.
- Extensive experience in the Minnesota legislative process focused on health and human services.
- A Master’s degree in public affairs, public policy law, or a similar area of study.
- Knowledge and experience in public policy development for Medicaid and related human services programs.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executives and community organizations.
- Experience working effectively with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
