Starling is seeking a Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping to oversee the maintenance and housekeeping operations of their senior living community in Maitland, FL. This role emphasizes compliance, budget management, and team leadership.
About the Role
As the Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping, you will supervise the maintenance of the building, grounds, and mechanical assets. Your responsibilities include managing maintenance service requests, developing budgets, overseeing renovations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also lead the Safety Committee and implement a preventative maintenance program while directly supervising the Maintenance and Housekeeping department.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's/Technical degree in a related field.
- Four years of maintenance supervision experience.
- Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing, and related repair.
Preferred:
- HVAC certification.
- Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
- Experience with all types of appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwaves).
