UMBRELLA is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead strategy, execution, and performance across their client portfolio in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves managing the marketing team and overseeing various marketing strategies.
About the Role
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end marketing strategies for client accounts, managing and mentoring the marketing team, developing integrated marketing roadmaps, and overseeing client relationships. You will also analyze performance metrics and ensure deliverables are client-ready, while collaborating closely with the creative team.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7-10+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or digital strategy.
- Proven experience in e-commerce marketing.
- Hands-on experience across paid media, social, email/SMS, and web/e-commerce strategy.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and reporting.
- Experience managing and training teams.
- Proficiency with collaboration and analytics tools (Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Suite, Notion, GA, Meta Business suite, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
- Comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
Preferred:
- A strategic thinker with the ability to connect performance metrics to brand and business outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about building and scaling digital-first brands.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, boutique agency environment.
