About the Role
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day health care delivery system, ensuring that client health needs are met, and maintaining ICF/ID certification. You will participate in Medicaid audits, recruit and train nursing staff, administer medications, and act as a liaison between medical staff and facility personnel. Additionally, you will oversee pharmacy activities and provide nursing oversight for Adult Day Programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current unrestricted RN, ARNP, or PA license in Florida.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience and 2 years of management experience.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Prior experience in a long-term care medical facility.
Preferred:
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- Experience in ICF settings.
- Knowledge of AHCA/Federal ICF/ID regulations.
