About the Role
As the Director of Operations, you will lead construction operations, ensuring projects meet contract requirements, schedules, and budgets. You will drive operational excellence, mentor project managers, establish standardized procedures, monitor financial performance, and support business development efforts. Your role will also involve resolving project issues and participating in strategic planning.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12–20+ years of progressive experience in construction operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost controls.
- Experience working with project financials, forecasts, and WIP reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience with large-scale, complex, or multi-market construction projects.
- Ability to lead in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
