Summary
PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Patient Access to join their team in King of Prussia, PA or New Providence, NJ. The role involves managing the Reimbursement Staff responsible for patient re-authorization and documentation compliance.
About the Role
As the Director of Patient Access, you will oversee the management of the Patient Access Team, ensuring that resources, processes, and training are in place to meet departmental goals. You will review billing adjustments, collaborate with payer representatives, and provide feedback to staff on performance and compliance. The role requires active participation in staff education and development, as well as regular reporting to Senior Management on key performance indicators.
About You
Required:
- 5-8 years of experience managing a patient access department or healthcare reimbursement operation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable equivalent and related experience.
- Medical reimbursement knowledge is required.
- Strong work ethics and the desire to lead by example.
Preferred:
- Multi-site managerial experience in a healthcare services company.
- Managerial experience at a complex respiratory company.
- Previous experience in DME.
- Brightree experience is required.
