About the Role
As the Director of Plant Operations, you will lead and manage all aspects of the beverage manufacturing plant, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and safety programs. You will develop strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing budgets and staffing levels are key responsibilities, along with monitoring KPIs to evaluate plant performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in beverage or food manufacturing operations with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex production facilities effectively.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (such as GMP), safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental compliance.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
