Melmark is seeking a Director of School Services to join their team in Berwyn, PA. The role involves assisting the Senior Director of Educational Services with the development and implementation of administrative, operational, and health services in school settings.
About the Role
As the Director of School Services, you will oversee the quality of educational and clinical programs, manage the implementation of service delivery, and assist with licensing and certification requirements. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of classroom educational services, ensuring appropriate staffing resources, and utilizing the Melmark Enterprise Data System (MEDS) for data management. You will also collaborate with various directors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee behavioral programs.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Education, Special Education, behavioral psychology, or a related field.
- BCBA Certification or Level 2 Special Educator/Principal Certification/Supervisor of Special Education Certification required.
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in clinical service delivery and supervision within public or approved private school settings.
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years experience in program management, supervising, and training staff.
Preferred:
- BCBA Certification highly preferred.
- Skills in human resources, budget management, and running residential, educational, or clinical systems.
