Summary

Urban Pathways is seeking a Director of Social Services to join their team in Bronx, NY. The role involves overseeing the clinical and case management functions of the program to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory policies.

About the Role

As the Director of Social Services, you will manage and supervise the Social Services Department, oversee clinical provisions for clients, monitor quality improvement functions, assess staff training needs, and ensure timely reporting to regulatory and funding agencies. You will also provide administrative coverage in the absence of the Program Director and ensure accurate employee timekeeping and evaluations.

About You

Required:

Master's degree in social work or a closely related clinical field.
Minimum of five years of clinical and supervisory experience.

Preferred:

Professional license (LCSW).
Experience with the homeless and individuals with mental health conditions or substance abuse issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team-building and coaching skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of client relational databases (e.g., AWARDS).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
