MGC Diagnostics is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to join their team in St Paul, MN. The role involves planning and developing programs and processes to ensure material availability to support manufacturing production globally.
About the Role
As a Director of Supply Chain, you will manage and coordinate activities related to materials management, including negotiating, purchasing, receiving, storing, distributing, and scheduling raw materials. You will ensure on-time material availability, implement lean materials techniques, report key performance indicators, and develop programs to optimize inventory turns. This position also involves supervising purchasing and inventory control employees and conducting performance appraisals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- 8+ years of related experience in materials management and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Preferred:
- MBA or master’s degree.
- Related certifications commensurate with the role.
- Medical Device / Field experience.
- International materials management experience, preferably in Southeast Asia.
