About the Role
As the Director of Transportation Operations, you will act as a liaison with the Traffic Operations Division, coordinate with design and area offices, investigate transportation-related complaints, oversee traffic engineering studies, and represent the department in municipal planning organizations. You will also be responsible for developing plans for transportation management systems and various transportation projects.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science accepted by TX PELS.
- 7 years of transportation engineering experience in the construction of highways, bridges, or structures.
- 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license and TX Licensed Professional Engineer.
Preferred:
- Experience with traffic management systems operations.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations in transportation engineering.
