McKesson is seeking a Director, Payroll Systems (Workday - HCM) to join their Global Payroll organization in Irving, TX. The role involves overseeing the integration and post-production support of payroll systems across North America.

About the Role

As the Director, Payroll Systems (Workday), you will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to the post-production support of the Workday Payroll module, ensuring operational success, implementing continuous improvements, and leading projects related to payroll functions. You will collaborate with internal technology stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration with systems such as ADP and WFM.

About You

Required:

A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, information technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience with Workday – Payroll/HCM module testing/integration.
Proven experience in leading large-scale payroll function implementations in Workday Payroll or providing post-production support for at least 2 years.
Expertise in process automation and project management.

Preferred:

Familiarity with supporting technologies that integrate with Workday payroll systems, such as ADP.
Strong understanding of current legislative and compliance issues related to payroll.
Experience in leading, developing, and mentoring teams.
Multi-country experience.
