About the Role
As a Director & Senior Legal Counsel, Patents, you will serve as a client-focused business partner, providing intellectual property advice and support. Your responsibilities will include managing patent drafting and prosecution, conducting invention reviews, assessing patent landscapes, and providing training on intellectual property matters. You will also engage with client organizations to align patent strategies with business needs and assist in litigation matters related to patents.
About You
Required:
- 8-10 years of relevant patent experience at a national or regional law firm and/or in-house, with at least 5 years in-house patent experience.
- Prior experience in global patent portfolio development and management.
- Bachelor's degree in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Bar admission in California and patent attorney registration at the USPTO.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with intellectual property licensing and litigation matters.
