Summary
Instruction Partners is seeking a Director, Strategy and Design to lead the strategic direction, design, and continuous improvement of their core service delivery model and related tools, training, and resources. This full-time remote role involves up to 40% national travel and focuses on driving organization-wide change initiatives and scalable resource design.
About the Role
The Director will independently lead the redesign and strategic evolution of the core service model, drive scaling and implementation of updated services, spearhead organizational change management initiatives, develop advanced tools and resources, champion continuous improvement and innovation, design strategic feedback and data analysis frameworks, measure program impact quantitatively, provide senior coaching and mentorship, lead cross-functional collaboration, contribute to strategic planning, build organizational influence and partnerships, and conduct independent research and thought leadership to position the organization as a leader in service delivery and CSR.
About You
Required:
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in instruction and equitable outcomes for all students.
- At least 5+ years of progressive experience in program design, learning design, or related fields with significant leadership of strategic initiatives.
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in organizational or multi-departmental change management initiatives, especially related to strategic program implementation.
- Proven track record of independently leading user-centered tool and resource design for diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills, and follow-through on complex projects.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences including senior leadership.
- Highly comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently leading continuous improvement cycles.
- Deep internalization of adult learning science and mastery of designing, delivering, and evaluating effective adult learning at scale.
- Extensive experience leading complex design projects with multiple competing stakeholders in ambiguous contexts.
- Exceptional ability to build and leverage positive relationships across differences and drive collaborative solutions.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects using robust project management systems.
- A profound passion for continuous learning.
