Moderna is seeking a Director, Therapeutics Translational Research to lead a focused research team in Cambridge, MA, focusing on the development of mRNA-based cancer vaccines and therapeutics.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating methodologies for patient profiling, leading the development of companion diagnostics, managing advanced profiling techniques, collaborating with various teams to drive translational strategies, and mentoring junior scientists. You will also oversee relationships with CROs and contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific publications.
About You
Required:
Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience in translational research within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Strong background in developing flow cytometry, ctDNA sequencing, MRD methodologies, and protein-based assays.
Preferred:
Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities.
A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in cancer immunotherapy or autoimmunity.
