About the Role
The Director/Senior Director will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making major gifts of $100,000 and above. This role involves implementing development strategies, managing donor relationships, and collaborating with university leadership to align donor interests with institutional priorities. The position requires a sophisticated understanding of major gift strategy and exceptional relationship-building skills.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree and eight years of experience.
- Experience in development or a related field.
Preferred:
- At least eight years of major gift fundraising experience with documented success in soliciting major gifts of $100,000 and above.
- Prior experience in a college or university setting.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and methods.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor databases.
