About the Role
As a Distribution Engineer, you will assist in reviewing design documents, support senior engineers, verify site characteristics, prepare data visualizations, maintain quality control standards, and work collaboratively on project execution. You will also contribute to technical reports, conduct engineering studies, and assist in the preparation of Health and Safety Plans.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in electrical engineering designing power transmission and distribution systems.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure planning and construction management.
- Ability to coordinate with agency regulators.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Moderate proficiency with technical writing and design software.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
- Experience managing small to mid-size projects.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
