About the Role
As a Distributor Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking distributor branches, setting up displays, executing promotional strategies, training sales staff, coordinating customer events, maintaining sales opportunities in CRM, and building relationships with distributor employees. The position requires travel between various distributor locations, including some overnight trips.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 5+ years of outside commercial experience within the industry.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and boosting profitability.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and CRM software.
Preferred:
- Experience with Teams, Zoom, LinkedIn, and MS Dynamics platforms.
- Prior experience in B2B sales development.
- Strong familiarity with prospecting strategies.
