Summary
Vontier is seeking a District Manager for the Fort Myers/West Palm Beach, Florida area to lead and support mobile automotive tool distributors/franchisee owners for Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier.
About the Role
The District Manager will provide daily coaching to mobile automotive tool distributors, offer ongoing sales and business management support, analyze business data to guide performance, recruit and qualify potential franchisee prospects, present and sell Matco's Tool Distribution Franchise, liaise between franchisees and corporate departments, complete formal business reviews with actionable recommendations, use MS Office for sales management and tracking, and collaborate with regional and district sales managers to achieve recruitment and retention goals.
About You
Required:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience; field/route sales, sales management, automotive tool franchise, or business ownership experience is a plus.
- High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree desirable for advancement.
- Ability to receive product at home and bring to monthly sales meetings.
- Valid driver's license and insurance with ability to navigate territory.
- Ability to travel up to 5 hours a day with occasional overnight stays.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and sales coaching skills.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; intermediate proficiency preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Highly disciplined, independent, entrepreneurial, confident, well-organized self-starter with uncompromising personal integrity.
