Summary
Tides Family Services is seeking a Diversion Clinician to join their Believe in Making Results (BMR) program in Providence, RI. The role focuses on providing support to youth ages 10-14 and their families through a community-based approach.
About the Role
As a Diversion Clinician, you will supervise bachelor’s level behavioral assistants, develop and implement individualized recovery plans, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and provide direct clinical services including counseling. You will also coordinate with community resources, facilitate therapeutic activities, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Independent Clinical Licensure.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families.

Right now, 1 in 5 children in Rhode Island are living in poverty, with 2 out of every 3 of those children are living in the communities we serve.
