About the Role
As a Dock and Door Service Tech, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment, welding, maintaining a service van and its inventory, and processing paperwork after job completion. You will work closely with customers to ensure their equipment is functioning optimally.
About You
Required:
- Less than 2 years related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred:
- Technical school graduate preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Welding experience.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
