Summary
Arup is seeking a Document Control and Information Manager to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves enhancing data management processes and developing integrated reporting systems for various projects.
About the Role
As a Document Control and Information Manager, you will assist in the procurement, vendor engagement, design, and implementation of Common Data Environment (CDE) systems. You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, oversee system configuration, support the selection and administration of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), and contribute to document control initiatives. Additionally, you will deliver training for client staff and maintain security matrices aligned with industry standards.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Management, Document Control, or related fields.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with best practices in data handling and management.
- Experience with document management system information architecture and security models.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing reporting systems, preferably in Power BI.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Power BI and Power Automate.
- Experience with Project Management Office tools such as Smartsheet.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and manage deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience with drafting Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience acting as Super User role within a Document Management Solution.
