About the Role
As a Dog Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake of dogs from shelters, scheduling medical appointments, and working closely with foster homes to address the individual needs of each dog. You will also approve and schedule dog adoptions from foster homes and conduct virtual home visits. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with shelters, veterinarians, and foster homes. Much of the work can be done from home.
About You
Required:
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in animal care or rescue.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with dog behavior and training.
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating adoptions.
