About the Role
As a Domestic Violence Housing & OVS Specialist, you will assist clients in identifying safe housing options, support them with housing applications, coordinate individualized housing plans, and provide referrals to internal and external services. You will also maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care in all client interactions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- MSW (Master of Social Work).
- 2+ years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence or in housing advocacy.
- Familiarity with public housing systems and victim compensation processes.
- Bilingual.
