BradyPLUS is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join their growing team in Canton, MA. The role involves transporting and delivering products to designated customers.
About the Role
As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will operate a straight truck, box truck, or CMV to transport products along assigned delivery routes. Responsibilities include optimizing routes, ensuring order fulfillment, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining cleanliness. You will also follow safety regulations, communicate effectively with customers and dispatch, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL driver, delivery route experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age 21 or older.
- Valid commercial driver’s license and safe driving history; Class A required.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and pass a road test and Clearinghouse Query.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills to operate transportation systems and perform data entry tasks.
- Basic math skills to verify orders or reconcile delivery documents.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- HazMat or Air Brake Endorsement.
- Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire.
