About the Role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts, ensuring safe transportation of residents to various destinations such as appointments and shopping areas. Your duties will include communicating with the community, assisting residents on and off the bus, reporting any transportation issues, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety. You will also be required to record trip information and comply with established policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must have a current Michigan Chauffeurs License/CDL.
- Must be insurable by Village’s insurance carrier.
Preferred:
- No prior experience necessary.
- Basic computer skills.
