About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist clients with personal care, including dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing needs. You will prepare daily routines, support clients in achieving their goals, maintain a safe environment, and facilitate social interactions. The position requires working part-time on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid California Driver's License.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
- Must have First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred:
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
