About the Role
As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, you will maintain a nurturing environment for children, plan and execute educational activities, communicate with parents, and assess individual educational needs. You will work closely with a co-teacher and the program manager to support the unique challenges faced by children affected by cancer.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or a related field.
- Classroom experience with special educational needs children.
- Knowledge of early childhood special education theory and practice.
- Ability to be organized and self-motivated while working in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse community of families.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
