Acquire4Hire is seeking an Early Childhood - Teacher Assistant/Aide to join their team in Cedar Lake, IN. The role involves supporting teachers and the director in creating a caring and safe environment for children and assisting in educational activities.
About the Role
As a Teacher Assistant, you will assist in implementing curriculum activities, encourage children's participation, manage classroom materials, maintain communication with parents, and ensure smooth transitions from home to the childcare center. You will also follow center policies and state regulations while maintaining a personal professional development plan.
About You
Required:
Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
An understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (training provided).
Must clear full background check and pass health screening and drug screening.
