About the Role
As an Early Education Teacher, you will provide daily care for toddlers, foster age-appropriate learning and socialization, support the development of basic skills, monitor behavior and development, and collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's growth. You will create a safe and welcoming space while maintaining a clean classroom environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPR/First Aid Certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
- Knowledge of childhood development and preschool practices.
- Friendly, calm demeanor with strong communication and mediation skills.
- Physically able to lift/carry children, sit on the floor, and maintain classroom energy.
- Organized, dependable, and flexible.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting (teacher assistant, daycare, preschool).
- Familiarity with early education standards and classroom safety procedures.
