WSP USA is seeking an Early Professional, Civil Engineering to join their Transportation team in Wichita, KS. The role involves assisting with the design, development, and construction of infrastructure projects and systems in the public sector.
About the Role
As an Early Professional, Civil Engineering, you will assist with collecting and analyzing data from various sources for project development, perform basic civil engineering work, provide entry-level technical assistance, generate documentation, comply with safety guidelines, and complete training on assigned tasks.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.
- Excellent research skills with analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing and office automation tools.
Preferred:
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Familiarity with design software (i.e., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Prior internship related to the degree of study.
- Active participation in local professional practice organizations.
