About the Role
As an Echocardiographer - Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and operating imaging equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images. You will perform Transthoracic Echocardiographic examinations and vascular studies, including carotids and lower extremity arterial and venous duplex studies. Additionally, you will ensure radiation protection and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of data.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound
- RDCS/RCS certification
- RVS/RVT certification
- License or temporary permit to practice in the state of New York
- 1+ years of experience in Ultrasound
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel between different offices
Preferred:
- Experience with venous insufficiency studies
