About the Role
As a Clerical Associate, you will be responsible for handling verbal, written, telephone, and electronic communications at the central nursing station, maintaining patient medical records, ordering and controlling equipment and supplies, and assisting professional staff with the electronic medical record. You will also serve as a role model for customer service and interact appropriately with patients and families.
About You
Required:
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Ability to type 25 cwpm or have 7000 keystrokes per hour data entry skills.
- Ability to write/read in English.
- Demonstrate basic math skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrates computer proficiency.
- Crisis Prevention Institute training required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred:
- CPR training.
- Customer service experience in a healthcare environment.
