About the Role
As an Editorial Assistant, you will assist the editorial teams in creating and publishing content that helps readers make informed decisions. Your responsibilities will include managing multiple tasks, working in a CMS, optimizing content, and ensuring compliance with editorial standards. You will also be involved in fact-checking, copyediting, and updating published content for accuracy and SEO performance.
About You
Required:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience supporting editorial or digital content teams in an assistant or production role.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs/Sheets, and basic content formatting (including light HTML).
- Familiarity with basic SEO practices.
- 1+ years supporting editorial or content production teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with strong communication and time management skills.
- High level of comfort with learning and adapting to new systems, workflows, and tools.
- An open mind around the implementation of AI in your personal workflow and in content creation.
Benefits
- Base salary of $35,000 to $55,000 per year.
