About the Role
As an Editorial Intern, you will work closely with experienced editors and industry veterans, contributing to storytelling and data-heavy assignments. You will write web stories, shadow reporters at local government meetings, and contribute to print publications that reach over 2.5 million mailboxes each month. This internship provides a meaningful opportunity to inform local communities about important updates.
About You
Required:
- Currently studying for a degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Experience writing in AP Style, ideally for a student publication or media company.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Passion for delivering high-quality, local journalism.
- Experience working for a collegiate student publication or media outlet.
