Jabil is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join their team in St. Petersburg, FL. The role involves coordinating, implementing, improving, and verifying programs that support environmental, health, and safety systems.
About the Role
As an EHS Coordinator, you will manage programs that support environmental and safety goals, develop and maintain compliance programs, document procedures, analyze data for program effectiveness, prepare reports for regulatory bodies, and interact with internal and external customers. You will also serve as a technical resource and support various EHS programs as necessary.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in the field.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification required, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Hazardous Waste Handler Certification required, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft software packages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in environmental, health, and safety management systems.
- Ability to perform and review engineering calculations.
- Experience with compliance inspections and audits.
