Summary
Latham Pool Products, Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team in Rockingham, NC. The role involves implementing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program at the facility level.
About the Role
As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with the site team to implement the EHS Program, auditing its effectiveness, providing training to site personnel, maintaining safety and environmental records, and acting as a local expert on EHS requirements. You will also support multiple facilities and corporate EHS projects as needed.
About You
Required:
- BS in Safety/Environmental Science or related field and 2 years manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in compliance management in a manufacturing facility operating under a Title V Air Permit.
- Ability to effectively present information in both oral and written form.
Preferred:
- Managing a full Respiratory Protection Program and Hearing Conservation Program.
- Familiarity with Powered Industrial Truck safety and Electrical Safety NFPA 70E.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
