Creative Learning Center is seeking an ELA Teacher to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves working with Title I students in K-8 classrooms after school hours to provide effective instruction in reading and mathematics.
About the Role
As an ELA Teacher, you will collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students, plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting, administer pre and post assessments, and track student progress. You will also manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
About You
Required:
Active and valid fingerprinting with NYCDOE.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
Preferred:
Experience working with Title I students.
