IREN is seeking an Electrical & Systems Technician to join their Operations team in Childress, TX. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems that support high-performance computing environments.
About the Role
As an Electrical & Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, supporting specialized electrical integration of liquid-to-chip cooling systems, troubleshooting electrical and control issues, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain mission-critical environments.
About You
Required:
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, one-lines, and control wiring diagrams.
- 5+ years as an industrial/commercial electrician, preferably in data center, HPC, or mission-critical environments.
- Knowledge of UPS systems, switch gear, generators, and backup power systems.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, infrared cameras).
- Experience with liquid cooling technologies (CDUs, manifolds, dielectric or water-based cooling).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, electro-mechanical, and generator systems.
