Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Assembler I for their 1st Shift team in Melbourne, FL. The role involves performing assembly tasks such as soldering and hardware installation under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with engineering standards.
About the Role
As an Electrical Assembler I, you will be responsible for performing specific tasks including soldering, hardware installation, and post coating. You will inspect your own work to ensure it meets quality standards and comply with all company regulations. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement plans and maintain a clean work area. You must be able to pass a soldering assessment after training.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
Preferred:
Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.
Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.
Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
